As politics is going mental right now, especially in the North East I thought I had to get on the councillor of the Hendon Ward in Sunderland, Stephen Elms.

Stephen isn’t your average councillor though - he’s a rapper.

His story is actually heartbreaking and why he got into politics definitely makes sense.
